According to consulting company Zinnoy report, because of the global economic recession, technology industry stop its globalization. About three quarter (73%) interviewees expressed that their company do not plan to expand their global R&D team. Only 11% said that they will continue to develop R&D abroad. Besides, about a quarter of the R&D managers said their companies are not planning to slowdown their R&D plan. For the few companies indicated that they still expand their global R&D, China and India are their first preferential location. Those interviewees also expressed that the global R&D problems they faced are lacking of productivity (38%), the following problems are keeping talent (31%) and rising costs (14%).
